Common questions
What does it cost?
It is priced per document, because a one-page birth certificate and a rush federal apostille are different jobs. Send your request and you get a firm number and a turnaround before any work begins.
How fast can this go?
It depends on the issuing state, the federal workload and international shipping. We confirm your dates once we see your list.
Do I have to fly back to the United States?
No. For documents you sign yourself, a U.S. notary can witness your signature over live video. The notary stays in their commissioning state and you stay where you are.
What if you tell me I do not need you?
Then that is what you will hear. If the job is one you can run yourself, we say so.
Who handles my documents?
A U.S. notary and apostille partner, chosen because they deal with clients living abroad. We stay on the Portuguese side and remain accountable to you for the result.
